 Optional Fire Liner
 Extensive testing has led Southwest
Engineering to conclude that they manufacture the most fire resistant gun vault on the market today. The unique ArmorVault™ fire liner that
Southwest Engineering uses is a five layer system, which consists of a 1/4" steel shell; a 1/2" air space; two layers of 5/8" Fire Roc thermal insulation; and a 1/8" steel inner wall.
Most other competitor's fire resistant models only use one layer of insulation. ArmorVault™ increases this protection by 100% by using two layers of 5/8" Fire-Roc thermal insulation. Each layer is U.L. approved and rated for one hour fire resistance at temperatures up to 1250°F.
The door seal used in ArmorVault™ fire models is rated to withstand temperatures exceeding 2000°F. This flame seal is extremely important in reducing the amount of heat that can enter your vault.
